mock assessment starts this week. may my Diamonds excel in all the subjects!

with choral reading by the end of this week, SLC's preparation, open house prepartion, getting my room ready for the big day, getting all the necessary stuffs ready as soon as possible, i really think i need a time off from this very hectic schedule. and thanks to lovely colleague, zizie!, for giving away the 'instant prize' to me, insyaAllah, i'm boarding SuperStar Virgo again with boyfriend, jannah and her boyfriend. how cooooooool is that huh.

and tomorow, i'm going to arab street with momma to survery and most prolly, i'll get 2 kains for the big day! what colour shall i get? pink? white? blue? omg, i can't decide! wooohoooooo! the paints are all ready for my room. just waiting to visit ikea to get my bed and everything else you can name it. omg! can't wait for everything to fall in place! dyamn, i am soooooo excited!

i am feeling so sick right now. i can't afford to fall sick at this very moment, but it can't be helped. oh dear. there are still alot of outstanding works. lucky enough, i've completed all the things for my diamond babies. only left with the project and the pyjamas party this friday.

enough about work. let's hope boyfriend wil be free this friday and we can go to arab street with momma. i am soo looking forward to buy the 'kain lace' down there lah. super cheap. momma bought a pink and blue lace for herself at only $140. cheap right?

been busy with my diamond babies. finishing up the class activity, the revision booklet, PROJECT! and everything else that you can name it. with the chickenpox fever just ended quite recently, all my absentees are now back in school with alot alot alot alot alot alot alot alot alot of pending works! GO teacher mai! i know i can do it. yes yes yes!

and SLC is coming up. it's my first time, and i'm already soo lost at the first stage. and can somebody please teach me how to make a movie with slides and pictures? lol, i ain't that good with this movie thingy, so please guide me. anybody up for it? i'll treat you McFlurry, promise. (:

tremors shook the island after an earthquake of magnitude of 7.6 hit indonesia. i didn't feel it though, but just the thought of it creeps me out. alhamdullilah, nothing bad happened. but a tsunami was warned. though it was withdrawn, must must be cautious kan?

on a brighter note, we are going to cousin's engagement this weekend. just me, momma and boyfriend! hurrrayyy! i am soo looking forward to this weekend.

and it's double happiness for me this year. firstly, it's my 2nd raya with babylove, alhamdullilah. and really, he pampers me too much. thanks baby, for the baju and everything else. and secondly, i've officially introduce babylove to my family. and YEAH, ibu, nenek and the whole family doesn't object to our relationship. (winkwink) and babylove is following us to my cousin's engagement at malaysia in 2 weeks time. there, i will introduce him to my big big family at malaysia. cooool or whut!

double happiness!

teachers' day was awesome. i wasn't expecting much, but my students are love! i received teddy bears, flowers, brooches and many more! some even gave me their baby pictures. sweeet lah kan?

and i was offered CECCE by iMAN! dyamn, i was over the moon plus jumping plus shouting in happiness when i received the news from Mdm. one step closer to achieving my goals. alhamdullilah, i've been waiting for this since the first day i started working. and you can bet, i'm gonna give it all out. (:

Teacher Siti Umairah

Strengths

Teacher converses in English throughout the lesson.

Teacher starts the lesson with a simple exercise, exposing the children to sense of directions incidentally.

Teacher is also seen to be constantly getting the children to move around during lesson. Teacher allows the children to stand up and stand on one leg just like a flamingo. Teacher also allows the children to imitate the sound of a parrot.

Teacher displays a very friendly approach, allowing the children to be comfortable in class. Teacher is always seen smiling in class. Teacher distributes an imaginary bird to the children. She emphasizes on the importance to take care of the imaginary bird. This, incidentally, teaches the children to be responsible for the pets they keep.

Teacher is able to tell the children what she wants using simple instructions. Teacher is firm with what has put across.

Teacher takes pride and is sensitive towards how the children feel. Teacher had been showing the rest their work except for a boy. When the boy asks where his work is, teacher makes the effort to search and show his work to the rest.

Teacher makes use of teaching materials to deliver the lesson in class. Teaching materials are mounted and well kept.

Teacher monitors all behaviour and gets children to apologize to each other when there is a minor argument.

Areas of improvement

Teacher may want to look into tuning to a signature tune before conducting the lesson.

Teacher has good intentions of reminding children to behave themselves during lesson but teacher should really consider avoiding the usage of the word “naughty”.

Teacher must also make an effort to check on proper pronunciation before conducting class. Check on how to pronounce “yak” and “zuchinni”.

and thanks to my colleagues, due to my absence at work, the choose me to be the Ratu Iman for Jurong. and we had to dress to impress everyone. and alhamdullilah, i won the 2nd prize.
